I took a trip to San Francisco with some friends this past February. It was probably the best time I’ve ever had on vacation! We were to spend a couple days in San Fran and head our way to Tahoe Nevada for some skiing, and on the way their we stopped through Sacramento which happened to have a Kenneth Cole outlet. Of course we had to stop since my friend Mark, who is a huge Kenneth Cole fan, was driving…and i didn’t argue since it involved shopping!!

Dollar signs flashed before my eyes as I entered the store knowing how expensive this brand can be…and they have every right to…I guess. I’ve never been a big fan since I can’t buy a bundle of clothes, a pair of shoes and a couple accessories for under $500–and it doesn’t help that I don’t go for the dressier look. However that outlet has some awesome deals!! I actually found myself pawing through the clothing and finding things I really did like, so maybe the lower price helped! I did happen (like there was any doubt) to find the shoe area in the back & was I ever so pleased!!! I was like a kid in the candy store…thank goodness they were organized or someone may have been hurt during my hunt. After searching through dozens of dress shoes and sandals, I stumbled upon these beautiful casual shoes made up of matte leather and canvas. And they were blue!!! Without a second glance I snatched these babies up into my arm, body-checked a couple people, and made my way across the store to show them off to my friends. BTW, I tend to get overly excited about the littlest things. The best thing about it is when your friends really love the shoes you found, but they can’t get the same thing! And who would want to? ;-)

These shoes are definitely casual…you can wear them with any of your blue jeans and basically any top, but I do find myself wearing them when I need to look a wee bit dressier. People are surprised when I tell them that they are Kenneth Cole, and the quality is the same as their upscale shoes.
