ANSWER: Currently in a bag of rice…trying to absorb all the moisture from it after taking a dive in the toilet last night!

So yesterday was our 4th of July party and we had a blast…until crazy random things started to occur, but I won’t get into those details here. But I do have videos!

Anyhow…by the end of the evening I’d learned that the precious iPhone 3g that I’d searched for this time last year took a dive for the worst. Fortunately for me I’m now on the 3Gs and the 3G is being used by my partner — however, it’s still a sad sad day. So this morning I jumped on the web searching for tips to get this thing up and running again.  The only one I can really see that has had a lot of success is the bag-o-rice technique. So…into the bag of rice the 3G has went.  I did plug in an old pair of headphones so the rice/dust won’t get into the jack, figured that would be a bugger to get out. We shall see how this works!

BTW – I also seen the iPhone’s water sensor. I don’t think the one in the headphone jack turned pink/red since it looks all white down there…but the one by the power connector did turn red.  I’ll try to take a picture of it once I get it out of the bag later this week.
