It’s been a while now since my last post. Seems like 2009 is just flying by faster than any others. Maybe that’s a good thing considering all the craziness this year has brought on. Let’s all hope 2010 has better news to bring!

On the upside of 2009 — we are in the process of buying a new home. It’s a pretty cute little house with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and a full basement with garage. There will be LOTS of land for all the doggies to run and play — and for me to spend an entire Sunday on my shiny red Toro riding mower (with a couple cold ones of course). There are a few things around the house that need to be corrected and hopefully we can get all the painting and floors refinished in a timely manner…so I can move in! I’ll blog more on the progress and post some pics — once I take some.

By the way, if your looking for a great deal on a new home yourself, check out bidselect.com. They have lots of foreclosed property (not in all states) and you just need a registered agent to place a bid for you. We went through our friend Mary at Reece and Nichols — which helped out a lot since she was familiar with the process.
